Madeira Lodge Extension - Belmont Health Care
The extension at Madeira Lodge required a full flooring specification suitable for the heavy daily use of a busy care home. Bay Carpets recommended and installed a combination of durable LVT for all communal areas, non-slip vinyl for wet rooms, and impervious-backed carpet for each bedroom. With 20 new ensuite rooms and multiple corridors and day spaces included in the build, the project delivered a safe, stylish, and long-lasting flooring package throughout the entire extension.
Common Areas - Brampton Lodge Care Home, Folkstone
We refurbished the communal areas at Brampton Lodge by uplifting the existing hallway carpet and preparing the subfloor for a high-quality finish. We installed 140m² of commercially rated LVT flooring throughout the corridors and shared spaces, providing excellent durability, improved hygiene, and a fresh modern look that’s ideal for busy care home environments.
Lounge Vinyl - Lindau Care Home, New Romney
Lindau Care Home in New Romney needed new lounge flooring, but after uplifting the old vinyl we discovered the subfloor was damp and rotten in several areas. All damaged flooring was removed, a full DPM was applied, and the floor was re-smoothed with two coats of latex. Once the subfloor was fully prepared, brand-new lounge vinyl was installed for a clean, safe, long-lasting finish.
